Plenty of Creature Comforts

Whether you opt for the coupe or convertible, you'll have a wide range of trims to choose from, and you'll find the sports car offers world-class amenities no matter the grade. Both variants can be had in base Stingray, Stingray Z51, Z06 and Grand Sport grades. The Stingray 1LT comes standard with 18-inch front and 19-inch rear wheels, summer tires, xenon headlights, Brembo brakes, heated mirrors, dual-zone automatic climate control and leather upholstery. The 2018 Chevy Corvette in Evansville also comes standard with Bluetooth, two USB ports, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and a nine-speaker Bose audio system that makes jamming to your favorite music a real treat.

Next in line is the Stingray Z51 1LT, which adds larger front brakes, a sportier suspension and an electronic limited-slip differential. The Grand Sport is also a favorite with 2018 Chevy Corvette reviews. It comes with much of the same equipment as the Z51 but tacks on an upgraded cooling system, wider fenders and tires, bigger brakes and adaptive dampers, making it the ultimate race-ready sports car.

Choose From Two Gutsy V8 Engines

Most models of the 2018 Corvette employ a powerful 6.2-liter V8. Standard, the engine can make up to 455 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, and the available performance exhaust system increases horsepower to 460. This system is optional on the Stingray, but Z51 and Grand Sport models get it at no extra charge.

The Z06 comes exclusively with a supercharged powerplant, which increases output to 650 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. Both engines can be matched to either a seven-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission.

Advanced Safety

Across the lineup, the Corvette comes with standard antilock disc brakes, a rearview camera, side airbags, and traction and stability control. GM's subscription-based OnStar telematics are also available, offering stolen vehicle assistance and emergency crash notification, among other helpful features.
