What is the Chevrolet Traverse Maintenance Schedule

As you know, regular maintenance is a great way to increase the longevity and performance of your vehicle. This is true of the family-friendly Chevrolet Traverse as well. To help with this topic, we have listed some of the more common Chevrolet Traverse service intervals below. For more specific information on your particular year and trim, be sure to consult your owner's manual.

15,000-Mile Service

Often, this first check-up covers some of the more basic maintenance tasks. If due, your Traverse can have its oil changed, and its tires rotated. Your tires may be at the point where you will want to consider replacing them. This typically depends on how often you drive and your driving style, among other things. Brakes are inspected as well.

30,000-Mile Service

Once again, oil, brakes, and tires will be addressed when you bring in your Traverse for this service. If you drive on dirt roads regularly, it may also be time to replace your fuel and engine air filters.

60,000-Mile Service

This is a major point on your Chevrolet Traverse maintenance schedule. If you have not had your brakes and brake fluid changed yet, this may be the appointment where it needs to be done. Your battery will be inspected for corrosion or other signs of damage. Transmission fluid and coolant fluid typically is good for anywhere from 60,000 miles to 75,000 miles, so these items will be looked at as well.

90,000-Mile Service

Many of the same things that were done at the 60,000-mile service are repeated here. This is the time that things like spark plugs and hoses will need to be examined. Your timing belt and power steering fluid may also require replacement at this point.

Our team is here to help you maintain the longevity of your Chevrolet Traverse. When you bring your vehicle to our service team, you can rest assured that we follow all of the recommendations for your specific model. Our goal is to help you keep your Traverse performing at its top level, and we hope to hear from you soon.
