What's New for the 2020 Chevy Silverado?

The 2020 Silverado is yet another entry in the long history of successful Chevrolet light-duty trucks. The platform was completely redesigned for 2019, and new powertrains and trim levels made their entrance. The truck market is more competitive than ever, and Chevy is rising to the occasion with new options and features. The Silverado remains unchanged after last year's redesign, except for the addition of a diesel engine option on certain trims for the 1500, 2500, and 3500.The Silverado 1500 offers Adaptive Cruise Control, while the all-new Silverado HD offers two heavy-duty powertrain options and new technologies for the Silverado 2500 and 3500.

2020 Chevrolet Silverado Horsepower

2020 Chevy SilveradoFor the 2020 model year, there's an all-new diesel engine option on High Country, LTZ, RST, and LT models. It's a Duramax 3.0L 6-cylinder with 277hp and 460 lb. ft. of torque. There's an optional Performance Upgrade package, which adds performance exhaust and an air intake to create 435hp and 469 lb. ft. of torque.
