The brand-new 2017 Chevy Tahoe in Evansville welcomes a new trim this year: Premier. It serves as a replacement for the top-of-the-line LTZ trim that was available on previous models, sitting alongside the LS and LT. Complete with the Luxury Package, the Premier comes with a hands-free tailgate opener, front parking sensors, 20-inch wheels, Magnetic Ride control suspension, 12-way power front seats, ventilated/heated front seats, a navigation system and a 10-speaker Bose system. Keyless entry and ignition are also standard on the trim.
Aside from the new Premier trim, all models with cooled seats have been replaced with ventilated seats. The available rear entertainment system has also been updated and now comes with a new video voiceover feature benefiting the visually and hearing impaired.
A 5.3L V8 engine, delivering 355 horsepower and 383 lb.-ft. of torque, is outfitted on the Tahoe this year. It comes paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, and is standard with rear-wheel drive and a locking rear differential.
