What are the Malibu Trims & Features?

The 2020 Chevy Malibu is offered in five trim levels. The base trim is the L. It is followed by the LS, RS, LT, and Premier. Even the base model offers a generous array of standard amenities and additional conveniences. With this trim, you'll get a number of creature comforts including air conditioning, steering wheel-mounted controls, a keyless entry, and an infotainment display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The LS adds OnStar and noise-reducing glass that makes your rides more quiet and relaxed. The RS packs in more convenience features with power-adjustable seats and a revised exterior that has a distinctive grille and a rear spoiler. The LT adds satellite radio, dual-zone climate control, a vent in the back seats, and heated front seats. Finally, the Premier, which is the top of the 2020 lineup, gets leather seats, a standard sunroof, a deluxe nine-speaker sound system, and an infotainment system with integrated navigation.

Raw Power and Stellar Performance

2020 Chevrolet MalibuThis year, the Chevy Malibu is available with two engines. The base is standard on the first four trims, while the Premier gets its own standard engine. The base engine is a 1.5L turbo with four cylinders. This engine, which is paired with an automatic transmission, delivers a maximum of 160 HP and 184 LB-FT of torque. The base engine comes standard with front-wheel drive. The second engine, standard on the Premier, is a more powerful 2.0L turbo. This engine's power capabilities increase to 250 HP and 260 LB-FT of torque. This engine also has an automatic transmission, but it has nine speeds instead of six. This engine also comes with front-wheel drive.

Packed with Safety Features

2020 Chevrolet MalibuWith bold LED lights in front and 10 standard airbags, the Malibu is designed to protect you in case of a crash. However, there is much more than this solid midsize sedan offers in the way of safety. A variety of safety aids, both standard and available, are designed to help you avoid accidents in the first place. This includes adaptive cruise control, lane-change alert with side blind zone warning, and forward collision alert, which sends a warning if a front-end collision appears to be imminent. This feature also warns if you are following too closely to the vehicle in front. These features are available.
