What's New For the 2020 Chevrolet Blazer?
The 2020 Chevrolet Blazer is a powerful SUV that comfortably seats five. This SUV will see a few changes for the 2020 model year. One of the most recognizable changes is that the auto stop and start feature will now provide drivers with the option to turn the feature off. Auto stop and start is designed to stop the engine at stoplights.
The engine comes back on when the driver takes his or her foot off the brake. For 2020, the Blazer will also have an additional engine option with the turbo 2.0-liter engine. When the towing package is selected, the 2020 Chevy Blazer will now include hitch guidance to make it much easier to connect a trailer while backing up.

2020 Blazer Trims & Features
There are six different trims available for the 2020 Blazer. The base trim is the L. This trim provides the Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system along with the 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. The 1LT trim is a step up from the L trim, and this trim features heated front seats. With the 2LT trim, the new 2.0-liter turbo engine is standard. The 3LT has standard leather-appointed seats along with the option of the V6 engine. When drivers choose the RS trim, they will have a vehicle with black accents on the exterior and black seating and interior trim. The top trim level for the 2020 Chevrolet Blazer is the Premier trim. This trim has a 3.6 liter V6 engine standard. Both 20 and 21-inch wheels are available.
2020 Chevrolet Blazer Horsepower
There are three different engines available on the 2020 Blazer. The smallest of the three is a 2.5 liter 4-cylinder. With this engine, the Blazer averages 27 mpg in highway driving. The 2.0-liter turbo 4-cylinder delivers up to 230 horsepower. The largest engine is a 3.6 liter V6 that provides up to 308 horsepower. With this engine and the towing package in place, the 2020 Blazer has a maximum towing capacity of up to 4,500 pounds.
All-wheel drive is available on the 2020 Blazer. When in normal driving conditions, the Blazer operates in front-wheel drive. When the need arises, torque can be sent to the back wheels to provide traction in slippery situations.
Chevrolet Blazer Safety
Several safety features are available on all trims of the Blazer. All trim levels come with a rearview camera that makes it easier and safer to back up. Forward collision alert with emergency braking is available. If the sensors that are a part of this system detect that a collision might be imminent, a warning alert is provided to the driver. If necessary, the brakes will automatically come on to help mitigate or prevent an accident.
The 2020 Chevrolet Blazer is a powerful and spacious SUV. Kenny Kent Chevrolet in Evansville, Indiana is the place to look over and test drive the Chevy Blazer.
