About Chevrolet Reviews From Kenny Kent Chevrolet

I know what you're all thinking: vans are not sexy. For the most part, I agree. With that said, many of us still need them for a wide variety of reasons, and finding a great one is just as important as finding the most gorgeous performance-oriented sedan. If you're reading this, then you've probably heard a few good things about the Express but need a little more information. For starters, it's the longest-running series of vans ever built, and it can cater to nearly any job. Best of all, it has one of the strongest reputations in the industry for longevity and reliability. It won't win many awards for style, but as work vans go, I guess it's pretty sexy in its own way.

The new 2014 Chevy Express Van is available in Evansville in three different model types (cargo van, cutaway van, passenger van) and two trim levels (base LS and LT). Brand-new for 2014 is the Express Crew Cargo Van, which offers a three passenger bench-seating configuration separated from the cargo area by a bulkhead. Evansville Chevy Express buyers can choose from four different powertrain configurations depending on individual need.

The first of four powertrains relies on a 5.2-liter V8 with 310 horsepower and 334 lb.-ft. of torque. This particular engine is backed by a four-speed automatic transmission and powers the rear-wheel drive setup. If extra traction is needed, buyers can opt for all-wheel drive. The second engine also powers the rear-wheel drive Express, but features a 4.8-liter V8 with 280 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. of torque. It's paired to a six-speed automatic transmission. The third powertrain setup is exactly the same, but houses an upgraded 6.0-liter V8 with 324 horses and 373 lb.-ft. of torque. The fourth and final option is a big boy: a 6.6-liter turbodiesel that generates 260 horsepower and an incredible 525 lb.-ft. of torque.

Amenities are sparse, but many other Chevy Express reviews highlight the fact that when it comes to work vans, the Express' feature list is second to none. Count on standard and optional features, like: cruise control, vinyl or carpet flooring, keyless entry, a sound system, navigation, power accessories, Bluetooth, a rearview camera and more.
